Hidden Gems in School Books
on June 23, 2012
I purchased this book for a college english 102 class. It is common in the curriculum. The book is a great study of argument. It includes a lessons on logical fallacies, inductive and deductive thinking, essays and articles on popular controversial topics, and in the back an unabridged copy of Martin Luther King JR.'s Letter from the Birmingham JailThis latter item will keep me from selling the book back or getting rid of it. The very back of the book provides the reader with a website full of resources to guide a student through the basics of a practical argument.
