While this book does have some useful information in it, it is primarily a re-hash of other projects in larger books. The pictures are the same as several other books I own and I was pretty disappointed with this purchase. I will most likely be donating it to my local library since I already have read this material in a different book.

This is however a good first book for someone looking to try out some projects. The steps are easy to follow and the pictures are descriptive.

This book have 23 projects with photos and practical tips in creating bonsais from Pre-Bonsai cultivated plants. dont expect to find detailed photos on tree evolution (even if many projects havephotos of the tree at different ages Ex: 1 year, 2 years , 4 years, 9 years). It is mainly how to transform a tree that have been raised in ground (for example) and doesnt have yet a bonsai shape, into a Bonsai (step by step pictures). Very informative for beginners or intermediate looking for inspiration.
