I began professionally publishing English as Second Language courses in 1991. In 1992, I published my first Spanish language course. My additional seven foreign language courses use the same format and reflect the same excellence of design and detail. I am currently working on Practical Hungarian Simplified. Also, I am developing complete interactive courses in Spanish and in English as a Second Language, to be published on CD.

Very good tape - great value!,

Simply put, I like this tape a lot! I've used other tape sets to try to learn the Czech language, but they have all been a turn off. This is my favorite, by far! The dialogue is practical, easy to understand, and well organized. The small booklet is just the right aid for those visual folks who need to see it in print.... I feel this is a GREAT value. Keep in mind that this is only one cassette, so it offers only an introduction to the language - serious students will inevitably want to get another more complete set - but this is a GREAT beginning / introduction, which is so very important to any new endeavor! This tape has introduced me to pronunciation, structure, the "basics", and convinced me that I CAN lean to speak Cesky!

Would help if the booklet was printed correctly,
By Keith M Andrews (Beavercreek, OH United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Practical Czech Simplified (Czech Edition) (Audio Cassette)
One problem is that the booklet that comes with the tape has several misprints because the printer could not all handle all characters the Czech Alphabet. I tried going to both the {websites} and publishing for an electronic versions of the booklet containing the correct characters. Neither web site exists. The tape seems nice, but I needed to make several handwritten corrections to the booklet. Good thing I already knew a little Czech otherwise I might have never caught this. Bottom line: You get what you pay for.
