Overall this book is one of a very limited number of practical guides to seal and gland design. The one drawback is that the discussion is almost exclusively limited to the use of O-rings for sealing. If you are looking for a book on specialty/custom molded seals, then look elsewhere. If you are looking for a book on O-ring design, this is an excellent choice.
