5.0 out of 5 stars excellent reference, August 9, 2006
This well written and to the point. An excellent reference for anyone but especially someone who is getting started in boating. It is one of those that you will want to refer to again and again.

This review is from: The Practical Encyclopedia of Boating: An A-Z Compendium of Navigation, Seamanship, Boat Maintenance, and Nautical Wisdom (Paperback)
This is mildly interesting read, but is not exhaustive or deep enough to be a true reference book. Might make a nice gift.
