Not very useful., July 6, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: A Practical Guide to Acquisitions: How to Increase Your Chances of Success (Paperback)
Provides a general overview of issues related to acquisitions; does not get specific enough with regard to marketing due diligence, which is supposed to be a primary focus of this book. Seems to come primarily from an academic perspective. Case studies and deals that are mentioned are mostly from Europe. I wanted something with a little more meat and potatoes.

A slightly different book on acquisitions, December 3, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: A Practical Guide to Acquisitions: How to Increase Your Chances of Success (Paperback)
A good introduction to the world of acquisitions. Somewhat refreshingly, it is focused more on the commercial aspects then the finacial and legal aspects which have been written about so much before.
