I've been gardening outdoors for more years than I'd care to admit but, potted plants were nothing I had really ever done. I'd buy hanging pots of Petuina or lantana and that would be that.
The Practical Guide to Container Gardening opened me up to a whole new way of thinking about potted plants! EVERYTHING is covered from what kind of pots you can choose to what plants grow best in what light and space. How to care for your plants once they are in pots or need to be re-potted This book is full of gorgeous photo's to give you great ideas and to show wonderful combinations you may not have thought of on your own!

This is a wonderful book. I like the ideas and the visuals as well as the dictionary of different plants at the back. I like how the book helps you with color and balance as well as limited space. How different plants can be combined in containers. I have a porch on the back of my apartment and want to grow plants there.
