2.0 out of 5 stars Very Light In information, September 8, 2009
This review is from: A Practical Guide to Palliative Care (Hardcover)
Mainly just lists of information and a lot of the lists are so basic as to be devoid of useful information. Might provide a nice reference source but too much information is lacking to make it a good review source. I am studying for a board exam and basically found the book worthless.

4.0 out of 5 stars Practical for everyday health care professionals., July 11, 2011

This review is from: A Practical Guide to Palliative Care (Hardcover)
Personally, I impress the feature of this book. It is an intention of the authors to present Palliative medicine in a "light" - simple, concise. We could not expect comprehensiveness from this book since it was indicated "Practical guide" for " General Family Practice". Anyway, it could be better if there are additional reading references for more details. By conclusion, this book is nice, at least in clinical part, for who provide end of life care but not yet experts.

3.0 out of 5 stars Palliative Care Book Review, October 16, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: A Practical Guide to Palliative Care (Hardcover)
This book looks as though it is very detailed and has alot of information to tell you about palliative care and hospice care. Yet, when you read it you notice it is not very detailed and only has bulleted points. It seems to be more general in its approach to palliative care and does not address many of the questions and answers that most are seeking when they read a book of this caliber.
