More About the Author
A. Greenman was born in the South of England in 1971. In 1995, he began wandering professionally and from 2000-10 he roamed and worked his way around much of the world. He wrote his first book in 2005, a hardback limited edition called The Nomad Tales. It quickly sold out. In 2009 he wrote The Practical Guide to Wwoofing. 2011 saw his famine to write explode, publishing: A.Greenman's Short Stories, How To Take a Gap Life and the first of the 'Adventures of a Greenman - Raw Travel Series'.
'I Travel Light - The Man Who Walked out of the World' is his epic, a novel style book, literary non-fiction, formed of Parts 1 to 14 of 'The Adventures of a Greenman'. In September 2011, he discovered that he is Dyslexic...and is further fuelled to write. In December 2011, he published 'The Wisdom of Travel - Words to Inspire'.

Very nice little book which gives a very light-hearted and good-humoured description of what it can be like to work on one of those organic farms in Europe.Would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of going WOOFing.

This book offered no more information than can be found on the Wwoof website. I flipped through it in about 5 minutes trying to prep for a farming trip and found absolutely NO specific information about farming or preparing to Wwoof. It was a terrible waste of money. I'm supper bummed.

This is an entertaining book full of little anecdotes about Woofing. While it may not be completely comprehensive, or have any sort of grammatical continuity, you very much feel the affection that the author has for the organization and for woofing itself.If you want to get excited about Woofing--buy this book!
