3.0 out of 5 stars Soil, Vadose Zone, and Ground-Water Contamination, April 18, 2003

I just use this book as a reference on occasion. I really don't like how it is setup or formatted. It does not contain an index which can make it a little difficult if you are trying to specifically find information. I generally go elsewhere if i need information quickly on vadose zone or contamination. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this unless you have had a chance to look at it in person and are sure that it has what you are interested in.

4.0 out of 5 stars I got what I was looking for, November 3, 2006
This review is from: Practical Handbook of Soil, Vadose Zone, and Ground-Water Contamination: Assessment, Prevention, and Remediation, Secon (Hardcover)
Basically, I bought the book looking for a good and detailed classification of polluting agents, which I got.

Good structure, hard to find these days an actual book, all you get is a collection of papers from various authors, so for you, people, looking for a classical book, or even a lecture book, this is a right choice.

I gave just **** because five you get only after the third edition! ;)
