Easy to read, very informative,

As a relative novice to ethernet, other than simply attaching devices to hubs & switches, I found myself a little overwhelmed as our LAN grew steadily over the past few years.I desired a more detailed description of the standards that would hopefully prove to be readable....I found the book far surpassed my expectations. I am now able to converse with 'more knowlegable' co-workers and consultants. I got up to speed with all of them in a matter of days.
