About the Author

Practical PV is written by the staff at Solar Seminars, people who have been successful in the PV, HVAC and building industries since the late 1980s.

Glenn Bland owns an HVAC - now PV and HVAC - company and has installed thousands of megawatts of PV since 2006. He is a fully certified NABCEP PV installer. Glenn has taught PV and other renewable energy technologies at community colleges since 1985.

Britt Bassett has an extensive learning systems background in addition to degrees in nuclear engineering and energy systems engineering. He has specialized in renewable energy studies and installations since 2004.

Douglas Walker has more than forty years in research and development, product design, manufacturing, and building construction. He has been building custom homes using with cutting edge renewable technologies and energy efficient designs since 1980.

After several trips to Russia to teach energy conservation, Douglas was compelled to write historical fiction. Novels include Belly of the Beast and soon-to-be-released Where Once I was a Child, the coming of age story of a young woman trapped in an dysfunctional family.
