4.0 out of 5 stars Of interest
I've never used pendulums on charts prior to this book, which was my reason for getting it. There is one short chapter on pendulum basics and then there's page after page of charts for everything imaginable. Unbelievably, there are no instructions for using the charts so it took me a few moments to figure out what I was supposed to do. Like I said, I never used pendulums...

3.0 out of 5 stars A little more improvement...
This book is too health related, as one of the other reviews mentioned. I can agree that it could use a little more variety in the charts. Therefore, I am ordering the other book "The Pendulum Book" written by Sig Lonegren. That seems like a book that may have a little more variety in it and is recommended more with better reviews.

I've never used pendulums on charts prior to this book, which was my reason for getting it. There is one short chapter on pendulum basics and then there's page after page of charts for everything imaginable. Unbelievably, there are no instructions for using the charts so it took me a few moments to figure out what I was supposed to do. Like I said, I never used pendulums on charts before. After experimenting, I got the hang of the charts and have ideas for creating more personal charts.

Despite the lack of instructions and my brief moment of discombobulation, this proved to be both an insightful and inspiring book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great beginning book on intuition and pendulum work, April 3, 2006
This review is from: The Practical Pendulum Book (Paperback)
Exactly what it says. This is a great beginning book with great charts and ideas on how to use the pendulum and the charts to do readings on others. Just wish the charts were laminated and bigger--my only complaint.

4.0 out of 5 stars Neat book for divining herbal remedies, July 18, 2008

This review is from: The Practical Pendulum Book (Paperback)
I have read many pendulum books. This little book was quite different. The author has developed a series of patterns for the swing of the pendulum that relates to minerals, health issues, etc., that can change depending on the type of pendulum used. These patterns are illustrated and explained in the beginning of the book. I am not sure if the author was aiming for the beginner or advanced because the explanations in the beginning of the book are short and to the point, but quite different from what I am use to on pendulum instruction. Nevertheless, it was quite interesting to see a new view on the application and deciphering of pendulum movements.

The chart section had some basic but really neat charts that I could see being quite useful for a person interested in the field of natural healing. Although many charts focused on things such as relationship compatibility, holiday decisions, job decisions, etc., for the most part the majority of the charts related to health issues such as sore throat and specific organs of the body with multiple choices of herbal remedies. I found this very very interesting.

It is obvious that the author has a background in herbal medicine and I thought it a great idea to have a set of charts of this nature. I will be adding this book to my library of pendulum charts for further use.

This is a ideal book for some one who has just started to use a pendulum full of charts of how to select herbs to make one self better, its full of all sorts of charts and details on how to use a pendulum.

It was an OK book but I would think for beginners it's a bit complicated.
I still prefer Dale Olson's book - The Pendulum Charts. He's by far the best I've seen.

Practically Useless!!! Yhis has applications for individuals seeking medical resources only. It's pure mumbo-jumbo in my book. I have been using the pendulum with great success since "The Amazing Kreskin" pendulum boxed set came out. This book is useless to me, it contains no new/useful information for me.
