I find the approach taken towards risk management in Practical Project Risk Management to be both practical and effective. Too often, discourse on risk focuses excessively on abstract theories, at the expense of usefulness and applicability. A solid theoretical underpinning is important, but insufficient. What we really need is a simple, effective approach that guides the project team step by step through an effective process.
