This is a must read. Not only was the book helpful, it was also entertaining. The authors' tips are truly practical and are meant for everyone. You gain the knowledge of money-saving tips that you can actually use today, and the confidence of being a smart shopper at the pharmacy.

This book was easy to read and you didn't have to read far into the book to already get great saving tips. I work in the hospital and one of the biggest reasons patients keep coming back is because of being non-compliant with medications. Most of my patients say they are non-compliant not to be difficult but because of how much medications cost. I am able to relay tips from this book to them to help cut the costs on their medication, in hopes of keeping them out of the hospital. And the tips are ones that they can use immediately and easy to do. Was so impressed by this book that I bought a few for my family!

My 7 months old daughter has been suffering from eczema. I've recently came across a new prescription cream "Epiceram". Even with my insurance, I paid $35.00 for a 90 gm tube which probably only going to last her two to three weeks. I took the tip from the book and call my insurance company. I found out if I buy two tubes I get the third one free. WOW that saved me $140.00/year. AWESOME!!!!!! I am planning to look at my son's medication list and see if I could save more moneys. This book is also fun, straight forward and easy to read. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to save money. I am so satisfied with this book that I bought a few to give it to my family.

This book was pleasantly surprising to read! Who wouldn't want to read a book that provides humor and money saving tips? Chapter 9, titled Cut It Out (The Value of Coupons) gives you tips on how to save money at the pharmacy by ASKING and/or USING coupons! Here we are living in the 21st century and I never knew you can use coupons on medications. I give this book 5 stars because saving money is top priority for my family.

I bought this book to try to save a few bucks on my pills now that I don't have insurance. It gave me tips on how to get the most for my money. I didn't realize how many options I have when it comes to my medications. I recommend this book to anyone taking prescriptions or have family members on meds. It is very easy to read.

Filled with TONS of money saving information that every person that buys prescription drugs or knows someone that takes medication needs! Not only does this book give you step-by-step directions on how to cut costs on daily medication, but also provides in insight on how the doctor - pharmacist - insurance company - patient/consumer relationships work together on providing the best pharmaceutical care, at the most affordable cost.

Never again will I take my pharmacist for granted, as the author also gives a view of how a PRACTICAL pharmacist views a patient/consumer's needs and how a better interpersonal relationship between the two, can help dictate a more economical pharmaceutical retail experience. The author covers all information and tidbits that can help one save money from when the best time to visit the pharmacy to tips about getting FREE medication.

While working in the health-care field, I honestly thought I knew everything that I needed to know while buying my medication and I was totally wrong! This book allowed me to learn new tactics and helpful common sense reminders to help my patients and I save money on prescription costs.
This book will pay for itself with the money you will save on your prescriptions.
