A Mini-Encyclopedia on Cleaning Tips; Also Useful for Science Projects, February 12, 2008
This review is from: How to Clean Practically Anything (Paperback)
Every imaginable topic related to cleaning is mentioned in this little book: kitchen, carpets, garage, laundry, bathroom,...ad infinitum. There are guides for stain removal, for example, from wooden furniture (p. 57). The cleaning agents recommended range from standard store-bought products all the way to homemade concoctions (as, for example, for the removal of skunk odor: pp. 148-149).
Children's' science projects are commonly centered on the effectiveness of various products for cleaning. This book provides great ideas for experimentation. As a science teacher, I found this book very useful for science projects, and some of my children actually used it for this purpose.
