If you are an English Second Language student from a Latin country, you need this. No matter your learning rate, this will greatly improve your vocabulary. It won't help your accent, but there are great choices on CDs for that purpose. This is a way to build your word store fairly painlessly.
Highly reccomended

This does not appear to me to be a beginning text at all. Intermediate maybe, but certaintly not beginning. I compared this to Spanish Vocabulary by Dorthy Richmond and found it to be seriously lacking, at least for a beginner.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellet value for the money, May 14, 2011

A relatively low cost item for those of us who live abroad. My wife is an English teacher and finding good books in Argentina is costly. This was a great addition to her library.
