Use NCEES practice exam also,

This review is from: Practice Problems for the Civil Engineering PE Exam : A Companion to the Civil Engineering Reference Manual (Paperback)
Some of these practice problems are good, but if you really want to get a good feel for the exam, I suggest buying a sample exam from NCEES. It has half the number of problems (20 morning and 20 afternoon) of the actual PE exam and is in the same format.

Not Enough...,

This review is from: Practice Problems for the Civil Engineering PE Exam : A Companion to the Civil Engineering Reference Manual (Paperback)
This book is a good starting point for studying/working problems for the Civil 8-hour exam. But--and this is a BIG 'but'--it is NOT ENOUGH material, nor is it really the appropriate level of difficulty for the test. It also doesn't offer enough problems, which is the same criticism I have with Lindeburg's big Reference Manual. These are a good item to have to *complement* other study materials, but don't try to use these alone...not that Lindeburg recommends that anybody do that.
