4.0 out of 5 stars The Practice of Qigong Meditation and Healing, November 9, 2002

Though this was my first experience in Qigong, I found the tapes clear and easy to follow. A good source of meditation material for self-help as well as for teaching others.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Practice of Qigong: Meditation and Healing, January 31, 2011

An excellent product for those wanting more information in Chi Qong. I have been doing the Lee Holden, Evercise to Heal Chi Qong dvd's for about a year and decided I needed to know more about Chi Qong, the history and philosophy. Ken Cohen does just that and more. A series of 6 tapes which are very inclusive and will take quite some time to go through, so I got my money's worth.

My only negative complaint is that these are only to be found in tape format. I would have liked them as CD's, but a minor inconvience for the information provided.

Sorry about my spelling of Chi Qong, there's quite a few accepted ways.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Concepts but Complex in Practice, August 21, 2000

I had to re-wind a few sections to get down the instructions for the qigong exercises right. It may be better if there was a diagram to show what you should really be doing. Not for the audio-impaired learner or for the visual-learner, but it is quite interesting and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it! It might just be easier to practice yoga or go to the gym to energize your body, but I believe activating your qi is far more beneficial, provided that you're able to follow the instructions and don't fall asleep while listening to the tape.
