Very close to the real tests, June 5, 2005
This review is from: 5 Practice Tests for the SAT II Math IC (SparkNotes Test Prep) (Paperback)
This is a copy of my review for the Spark Notes Math IIC Practice Tests.
I tutor SATs and have been taking SAT II Math every June for the past few years.
This year I expected Math tests to be slightly harder because Algebra II questions were introduced to the SAT Reasoning Test (what used to be called SAT I), and math sections there did become a little more difficult.
Well, I just took Math Level 1 and Level 2 today and am happy to inform anxious future SAT Subject Math tests takers that Spark Notes Practice Tests still reflect real ones quite well, with the exception of a couple of questions on Level 2.
Good explanations, but beware of a few typos and errors. Find Math IIC by searching for 1586638696.
If you are going for 800, work with the Barron's and Meylani books for a couple of months, but bear in mind that their versions of tests are not really "realistic". Good luck!

Very Easy Tests, June 3, 2005
This review is from: 5 Practice Tests for the SAT II Math IC (SparkNotes Test Prep) (Paperback)
I am a student who has seen it all. The fact that there are 5 tests is something good. Explanations are good also, but the problem is the tests are not hard at all and this is why it make a student over confident which is something bad. The test is definitely harder than these tests.
