About the Author

John D. Roth is professor of history at Goshen College, where he also serves as director of the Mennonite Historical Library and editor of The Mennonite Quarterly Review. He has edited and authored several books, including Beliefs: Mennonite Faith and Practice, Stories: How Mennonites Came To Be (companion titles to this book), and Engaging Anabaptism: Conversations with a Radical Tradition.
