This book provides great insights into why practitioners are slow to success and reveals practical solutions that address these core issues. It is an easy read with lots of valuable information and resources.

As Dan and Tara put it, every business at some point ends up in a dark cave. (Believe me, this happens!) What the owner should do at this point makes the difference between failure and success, and the authors present a workable plan for all businesses to "get back on the path."
This readable guide is packed with common sense strategies for growing any business. It is mandatory reading for all students in my business class!

I bought this book after reading a review that praised the book very highly and I have not been disappointed at all. The authors have made it very easy to read, almost in story form, all while giving us extremely valuable information that when followed, will surely lead one on a path to sustainable success. If you feel like your wheels are constantly turning and you don't have the balance you'd like, this book can definitely give you some great ideas.

I found the Practitioner's Journey full of really practical advice - advice I can easily act on TODAY! I thought the journey analogy was very cleverly written. Although I'm not a CAM pracitioner (I'm a physiotherapist), I feel the info and examples in this book are extremely relevant to(and a MUST READ for)any health practitioner who owns their own practice. I wish I had have learned the lessons in this book when I was in physiotherapy school - that would have been a huge benefit! Thanks for sharing, Dan and Tara!

The Practitioner's Journey is just the book I've been looking for. It has tips to use immediately today (and helpful ones! Good ones! Ones I don't need to break the bank for! Ones that will start me generating more money with less effort tomorrow!). It also has equally good tips to get me thinking about my business in the future.

These guys have really nailed how to run your business without losing sight of what really matters. Reading it feels like sitting down with a good friend who knows you (and your business) well for some really good advice. Thanks guys! I will be recommending this book to all of my self-employed friends, both within the healing professions and beyond.

I am not a practitioner yet, but I am reading this before I start school as it will help me think of ways to start a private practice before hand. I hope to avoid most of the pitfalls, thanks to the great advice in this book. The ideas are very useful and practical and the way it is written makes it very easy to retain.
