I think this is a good deal for a cute bag to go out drinking and dancing. However, I've only used this purse about 5 times and the 4th time, the nylon tab that attaches the purse with the metal piece at the end of the braided handle literally ripped off.

I sewed the little tab (and I'm pretty good at hand-sewing) back and on the 5th time out, it ripped again. It seems the the nylon material was fraying even as I sewed it around the ends. I even reinforced the other side of the handle which looked like it started to fray as well.

I know that my purse was not yanked on in any way and I did not overload it with anything since it could only hold my cell phone, gloss, and money.


I think it fell apart bc the nylon started to fray. I guess it served its purpose for the short time, but I don't think the materials are durable in quality. Then again, I didn't expect much with a nylon bag even though I have a nylon kate spade and with maximum usage, it has not once fallen apart.

I wouldn't say the price is 'worth' it, but if you think a $75 markup on the Prada tag (instead of $200) is a good deal, then that is your right. I am personally disappointed.

For the price, this is a great designer bag for going out with. It fits my wallet, cell phone, lip gloss, gum and house key. The only problems with the bag are 1) no interior pocket and 2) strap length is a bit short - bag is comfortable on my shoulder when I'm not wearing a winter jacket but barely fits with the jacket on. All in all though, I haven't been able to find a Prada bag for less than $100 anywhere else!

I thought wow a Prada bag for under $80 (the price has gone up since Christmas). I was very disappointed. I ordered the purple color (I am sure it has a fancier name). When it arrived, it looked like a cheap nylon bag I would find at Target for $10 (except Prada name). Also, the handle is too short and not adjustable. Not impressed at all!

Let me start by saying that the price of this bag is an insanely low price to pay for something you know is coming from a reputable seller of authentic merchandise. That is the plus of getting this bag: knowing that the bag is authentic and paying a low low low price for it. Also, Amazon knows it's a fancy purchase, and it is very well packaged in shipping (presumably to protect it?).

However, I was not impressed too much with the bag itself. Although it's on the small side, it was able to hold my wallet, cell phone, digital camera, chapstick, keys, and gum, so the size really isn't a big problem. As a previous reviewer mentioned, though, the handle could be of better quality (the rope does not appear to be sewn on very sturdily to the bag).

The biggest disappointment for me was actually that the drop of the handle is just a little too short to tuck comfortably under my arm. Once I had it on my shoulder, I felt like the bag was trying to do battle with my underarm (it was that close in proximity). I'm not a large person, mind you, so I would imagine that I'm not alone in having this problem.

Overall, a cute little bag, but not very practical in terms of what I wanted to use it for: to go out dancing with it tucked under my arm.

I bought this bag in black because I have it in red. The red bag i've had for over 5 years and is in GREAT shape. I've had the black bag from amazon a little over 5 months and part of the handle is breaking and the logo is coming off. cheaply made bag. I must say i'm extremely disappointed. I thought maybe I got a lemon, but upon reading other reviews, that doesn't seem to be the case.

I brought this because I needed a little bag -- and that's what it is. The size of the bag itself is not a problem: i'll reiterate the previous posts in that a wallet, makeup and cell phone fit very comfortably in this purse. The shortness of the strap, however, was what made me return it, as i was looking for a multi-purpose handbag: not one limited to the nightlife, or one that would need to be carried around all the time. It really is in your armpit, so half the time I just carried it. If you need a cute designer bag for clubbing, or social dinners, or the general night out, this would be a perfect bag -- and at a price that's incredible, since it's highly unlikely Amazon would be selling fakes (that is, if it's from amazon directly). Instead I got a slightly more expensive Fendi one that solved the shoulder strap problem, but isn't available through amazon anymore.

If you're expecting a super-high-quality purse, however, you might be unimpressed, since it's a simple nylon one. I'd go into a neiman marcus or saks and give it a look just to make sure it's what you want. Then again, it's cheap, and you could always return it.

I'm not terribly impressed with this Prada bag considering how much it costs. The handle looks like a sort of rope; it would have been better if it had been made of the same material as the bag itself. Also it does not hold its shape well since it is so flimsy, and because if this, it looks wrinkly unless you stuff it completely full. Another disadvantage is that it doesn't have an inner pocket. For a bag this size I would suggest a small Coach bag instead since they look very nice and hold their shape well because of the thicker material.

Nonetheless, this is a decent bag to carry on evening outings and it's a decent deal. So if you need a little black bag, this is a decent one.

I'm very pleased with my prada purchase from Amazon. I felt much more comfortable buying this purse from a source as reputable as Amazon.

Even though it is a smaller bag my plans for this purse is to use it when I go out to dinner, shopping, parties and I don't need to schlep around my entire life in a big leather bag.

The most gratifying feeling from this purchase is the savings. Anywhere else this little bag could cost twice as much.

I love my new Prada! It's perfect for a night out on the town. I was surprised that I was able to fit my makeup, phone, keys and money in it with a little room to spare! I'm happy with this purchase!

I bought this bag as a gift for my girlfriend. Some of the reviews on here are slamming the fact that the Nylon quality seems cheap. I disagree, the stitching and contruction is very nice. The zipper is
also high quality, and the strap fasteners are solid.
My girlfriend also likes the aesthetics of the bag, and it tends to look good in general ( since it's a small black bag).
