While an old, 60's recording of Pete while in Prague, the cd is one of the best of recent releases of Pete from this period. the production, notes and even the added recorded "notes" of Pete talking about the tracks which he recorded years ago add to value and quality of the recording. A "must" for Pete fans - which is just about anyone who appreciates quality folk and acoustic music.

Pete Seeger's appearance in Prague, 1964, and these privately made recordings, single-handedly created a boom in American country music in the then culturally-isolated communist Czechoslovakia. These recordings of the marvelously fresh and vivid performances of Pete in his prime, remain a treasure to this day. A must!
