Great collection from the American songbook, May 27, 2008

This 18 song collection features a who's who of American music recorded during their Prairie Home Companion performance. The sound is perfectly crisp, surprising considering these are live recordings. Duets features The Everly Brothers, Emylou Harris, Chet Atkins, Robin and Linda Williams, Faith Prince, Becky Schlegel as well as Prairie Home Companion regulars Butch Thompson and Richard Dworsky.
For those wondering,Keillor appears on 5 songs here but his voice is up to snuff.
