The Prairie Home Companion is one of National Public Radio's most popular and entertaining weekly programs. Now some of the truly great moments from the show are brought together in "A Prairie Home Collection", a three volume DVD set that highlights the best of special guests and Garrison Keillor as they make music, tell jokes, and, of course, relate the latest news from the characters that inhabit Lake Wobegon. Showcased guests include Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, Leo Kottke, Doc Watson, Bobby McFerrin, The Everly Brothers, Taj Mahal, Robin and Linda Williams. Simply stated, "A Prairie Home Collection" is a "must" for Garrison Keillor's legions of fans, especially those who appreciate a legendary Midwest community where the "all the children are above average"! Total Time: 3 hours

If you enjoy this show on radio, it is a great collection to have. Now you can see what it takes for this insanity.

Never received it. Received a notice that it was lost. Have yet to receive a credit back to my credit card.
This was my second attempt to purchase. Very disappointed

we use to faithfully watch prarie home companion on tv, it's good to see it again. if you are a fan you will appreciate some wholesome entertainment again.

Just to be clear that APHC was NEVER a part of National Public Radio or its offering of programs. APHC was and is an independently produced program of Minnesota Public Radio, then later distributed by and requiring membership in American Public Radio, while always being delivered, for a fee, via the National Public Radio satellite system. The show was produced for air by public radio stations, many of which were also National Public Radio member stations. This is a fact to keep in mind when making further searches for APHC in cyberspace, and it is bone of contention with GK.
