I would highly recommend these books by Janette Oke. You will not want to put the books down! They are simple and fast to read but with such touching stories. You can actually picture the story in your mind as you read. Highly recommend any of her books!

Refreshing change from typical romance novels. Centers on the importance of God in directing their lives. Good read.

Most young women have an unrealistic expectation of marriage, just like Virginia did. While the series tells a wonderful story of a struggling teenaged girl turned into a spiritual and devoted wife and mother, what stands out to me is the message of rue love and marriage. Janette Oke did a great job building this lesson into the story. I read all four books in just over a week's time! I couldn't put them down.

Prairie Legacy is an inspiring series. Mrs. Oke has once again captured the hearts of her readers in this series about Virginia. Personally, we can relate to Mrs. Oke's characters. She has a gift of making you feel as though you were Virginia, makes you feel her feelings, anger, happiness, sadness, ect. We can't wait for the next book!

I loved the Hallmark movie series and wondered what the real books were like. WAY BETTER! The characters are well developed and easy to empathize with. I loved learning about Prairie life, wagon train life, and the real daily lives of these women. They are so much like us! These books are a joy to read, easy reading, nice large print and hard to put down. My husband enjoys them, too.

I love books about how ordinary people found thier way across our country. Most of all I like to hear about how they overcame the hard times. When you read about some of the hardships they had it makes your own problems seem rather small. It is hard today to find good wholesome books that have no explicit sex, violence, or foul language. I found these to be very entertaining, calming books to relax with.

I LOVED THIS SERIES!! It's one of my favorite series so far, EVER! :) it made me laugh, cry, get mad, draw closer to my Lord and Savior and I enjoyed every minute of it!! I recommend it to everyone of all ages!

I loved it. Hope She keeps writing these wonderful stories. It is so refreshing to read wholesome books these days.
