I love the scripture that she uses during the poses.
R. Hodge
I tried very hard to like this video, but felt like Laurette spent way too much time preaching.

It is so interesting- all the moves are taken from Yoga classes, the most basic of it.

This workout is great. It is energizing to your body, mind & soul. This is the 1st workout video I have ever purchased. Most workout videos are body beautiful people in their skimpy clothes. That is just not for me & is the reason I have never purchased one. This workout with Laurette Willis & friends is very inspiring to get up & move your body, renew your mind, be happy, smile, think on scripture from the Bible & praise God. And she ends the workout with a peaceful relaxation time for your mind & body while she talks to you about God. It will leave you felling wonderful! The 50 min. workout goes by so fast but if I'm running short on time I'll do the 20 min. one. I highly recommend this DVD to anyone wanting to improve their health & mind. Patty Z.

This is MUCH improved from her first video. The music is not annoying, she's got good people demonstrating proper positioning, and I really like how she narrates instead of talking while doing the routine. I think more videos should do that! I love her opening prayer and how the moves really put me in a spirit of praising God.

This routine just seems too easy, like for senior citizens. It's nice to do on a rest day to keep myself limber and for meditating on the wonder of God.

I will look for her new power version looking for something more challenging for the muscles. Keep it up Laurette! We all learn from trial and error.

I am a committed Christian and wanted a Yoga-like exercise video without the Eastern religion element. I tried very hard to like this video, but felt like Laurette spent way too much time preaching. The scripted narration was annoying and seemed phony. She even chatters away incessantly during the meditation portion, which made it impossible for me to meditate and relax. In fact, it grated on my nerves. I tried this workout a few times, then donated the DVD to Goodwill.

The cool-down portion of Donna Richardson's "Sweating in the Spirit" is much more relaxing and edifying. The focus is on worshiping God, not on preaching about the evils of Yoga.

OK, I find this just a little ridiculous. All Laurette Willis has done is rename the yoga poses, with Biblical names, and then reads from the Bible. I have no issues with this what so ever. My issue is that in her testimony just doing the poses is religion, and an offering to Hindu Gods. So by her changing the names to Biblical names for the poses, and reading from the Bible, she is no longer doing the Hindu Yoga? Could have paid less for a similar yoga DVD, turned off the sound and played the Christian radio station as I did these. I'm a Christian, and am all for anything that opens and develops your faith, but for her to tout that Yoga is evil, and dangerous, only to find Laurette has done nothing more than rename the poses, and read from the Bible while doing the moves. Then let me tell you I have some great alternatives to other exercise programs and they are Christian moves too! Disappointed more in the touting of her exercises as being an alternative than really just saying she has renamed the moves, and is selling the DVD's under a new guise. I was truly hoping for something more Biblical than what i bought.

how fair it is - to take yoga practise, name it all praise moves and sell to Christian? It is so interesting- all the moves are taken from Yoga classes, the most basic of it. And then I just wonder - why to put it all under the God`s name?

As an alternative to doing yoga, I would highly recommend this video. Many of the poses are the same, so my body still reaped the benefits and felt great, like it use to after a yoga workout. I really like how there is scripture that is spoken/displayed all throughout the video. It really helps to get God's hope in my mind and focus my thoughts on life-gving things. If I were to critique the video, I would say that I wish the poses were held for a longer time, and that when scripture was displayed, it would stay on the screen for the duration of the pose. That would cause the quality of the workout and experience with God to deepen. As well, there is definitely an element of cheesyness, but that doens't stop me from using the video and reaping the benefits. I would definitely recommend this video, as you are able to exercise and worship God at the same time!

Being a deep tissue massage therapist for over 16 years, my back, neck and shoulders were in constant pain. After just a few weeks of doing PraiseMoves, I felt enourmous relief, and now I have virtually no pain.

It also helps to strengthen my relationship with the Lord, Jesus. Two workouts in one!!! This is an amazing DVD. It's a MUST have!

This is a great video for Christians who want to do yoga without all the new age mumbo-jumbo. This workout is more suited for beginners. I've done Yoga for almost two years so I was disappointed that I didn't work up a sweat and I need a more advanced workout.
