The CD is awesome the investment is worth the last track alone. "He Got Up" is what inspirational music is all about. I never heard of Lexi until after I heard "Praise in the Valley" but I will be listening out for her next album.

I am a first time listener to Lexi and took a chance on buying her CD (no downloads were available). I originally bought the CD for one song they play on the radio, "He Got Up." But after paying for the whole CD I decided to give each song a chance. This CD rocks!! Each day I have a new favorite. Songs that you should definitely listen to are:

*Whole Heart/Clap Your Hands

*I've Been Redeemed

* Wherever The Lord Is

*Be There

*As Long As I Have You

*My Heart Belongs To You

*Lord, I Lift My Hands

*He Got Up!

As you can tell the majority of this album rocks! It truly gets the focus off of ourselves and on our savior Jesus. The only song I didn't like was the bonus track. It didn't fit at all on the CD and it isn't my kind of music. Gospel music shouldn't encourage you to mimic the dances of the world but should pull out the holy dance that God has placed in us to worship the King of kings. Let's stop being jesters and be worshippers.

I have purchased every CD that Lexi has put out and I most say that she is an astounding artist. On her new CD, she kicks it up a notch with this Praise and Worship CD. You can enter in the presence of GOD with this CD. This is an anointing CD. I love every song on the CD. The last song is Okay. Lexi brings it again.

I was recently introduced to Lexi during our Women's Conference at New Birth South Metropolitan Church and was completely humbled by her anointing and her freedom to be transparent in her testimony. I was ABSOLUTELY blessed by this psalmist. The entire album is wonderful- I love "Not Until" with Kim Burrell- what an awesome combination. God Bless you Lexi- and thank you for giving your testimony and confirming that there is ALWAYS a praise in the valley. In spite of my circumstance- Good or Bad- wherever the Lord is, that's where I want to be....God Bless U...

This is one of the best CD I have heard in a long time. Lexi has a beautiful voice I thank God for her.

I bought the DVD, it is great! The whole DVD is full of excitement and anointing....Please Lexi, release more of this type of music. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this CD or DVD..My favorite song is "My Heart Belongs To You"

This is an excellent CD of praise and worship music. Lexi normally does urban contemporary gospel and is one of the most under rated female gospel singers on the planet! All of her work is quality production. She really shows her skills on this CD and has a few guest appearances that include Kim Burrell. EVERY song is very good. I love them all but favor 4-7. If you love good gospel music and praise and worship with some energy you will not be disappointed. I vote this CD for best female artist during the next stellar awards. Yeah! It's that good. Check the other reviews for specific songs.

This is the first time I have bought a CD of Lexi. So I didn't know what to expect. WOW!!!! I have such a hard time deciding which song is my favorite. They are all so powerful! I definitely want to see the video! You will be blessed by this project!

I had never heard of Lexi but when I did I just had to buy the CD. This is a great CD. Awesome ministry! Great music!

I normally do not like many female vocalists - and then there is Lexi. I was referred to her music by a lifelong friend that knows my taste in music. Lexi seems to convey such annointing in her music. What a powerful voice! After I purchased this CD I accidentally damaged it so I had to buy it again. I have since purchased the CD as a gift for 3 of my friends (I will not steal from any artist by illegally copying their work).

I purchased two additional CD's by Lexi (And That's the Way It Is and Somewhere DIfferent) and the DVD of "Praise in the Valley". I listen to this CD 3-4 days a week. When my 15 year old gets in my car he asks me to play Lexi.

This is one of the most annointed praise and worship projects that I have ever heard.

Being in video production I would have liked a better produced video of the concert. The CD and DVD are both highly recommeded. YOU WILL NOT BE disappointed.

Lexi takes me back to some great days. What a refreshing spirit without the diva-esque attitude. Fill your spirit with any music by this Psalmist.
