Great Book for Novice Guitar Players
I only knew a few chords before I started this book. I have been able to learn to play through most of the songs in this book, and have learned many new chords in the process. I like the fact that I am familiar with most of the songs from my church, and that the chords needed for each song are diagrammed at the beginning of the song, not in the back of the book. I...

Easy Praise not that easy
Lots of cords. This is no 3-cord book. Although the many new cords are not the hardest of all cords, learning that many new cords slows down the playing for personal worship big time. Also, song selection was not everything I had hoped for. I only knew a few of the songs.

I only knew a few chords before I started this book. I have been able to learn to play through most of the songs in this book, and have learned many new chords in the process. I like the fact that I am familiar with most of the songs from my church, and that the chords needed for each song are diagrammed at the beginning of the song, not in the back of the book. I would recommend it, and I am ordering the other volumes.
