5.0 out of 5 stars YEAH YEAH YEAH
The song "Sho Nuff" is the best song by Fatboy. Better than "The Rockafeller Skank". Buy this cd for that and you will be happy, but noooooo there is more, a mix by Aphrodite and Mulder. Excellent cd.

2.0 out of 5 stars I wouldn't buy it.
Luckily, I didn't have to. One of my friends made a tape of the album for me. Well, here's what I have to say:

The songs, even though they sound good and have feasible (sp?) tunes to them, wind up being repetitive (I mean, really, how many times does he have to say "Right About Now, the funk soul brother, check it out now"? And btw, those are the ONLY...

4.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Fun, August 1, 1999
By
Hewer (West St. Paul, MN) - See all my reviews
I'll review each song on this single in backwards order: "Rockafeller Skank" is a great dance song. "Sho Nuff" is pretty warped in the lyrics department (although that isn't necessarily a bad thing), but the melody is irresistibly adorable. "Praise You" is, of course, a terrific song--great for car trips (actually, that's true of the entire CD), and lots of fun from beginning to end. One warning: "Praise You" is slower than they play it on the radio. However, that shouldn't stop you from getting the CD and loving it!

5.0 out of 5 stars I Have To Praise You..., July 31, 1999
By A Customer
Although I enjoy listening to the title track, I gotta admit, I especially enjoy hearing new stuff. The Trio-like vocal sample of "Sho Nuff" and the clever remixing of "The Rockafeller Skank (Mulder's Urban Takeover Remix)", combined with the popular tune "Praise You", make for a pretty satisfying CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars SEVEN STARS FOR FATBOY!, January 9, 2000

What is it that explains beauty? Is it doves flying among a rainbow? Is it a majestic elk, standing proudly as the does eat the daisys around him? Is it a healthy new born child, a miricale of her parent's prayers? No! it's this CD single! To tell you the truth, I lost mine somehow, but I'm gonna get a new one! Yeah! That's how much I like this CD! The song Praise You is fun for all ages {I(14) my mom (46)and even my grandma (73) like it!) you'd better make sure your feet are sealed in cement, if you dont wanna dance before you listen to this song cause they're go insane, and you'll be dancin' all over the room! Get it! hear it! love it! Yeah!

5.0 out of 5 stars kicks some serious ass!!!, July 16, 1999

I'm glad that they don't stick to just one kind of music. The song 'Praise You' rocks, as does 'Rockafeller Skank'. Both are awesome, but completely different. Way to go!! A must have in anyone's music collection!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A totally great CD single!, June 25, 1999

I bought this CD only liking the song "Praise You", and having never heard the other two songs, but now they are some of my favorites. This is a amazing CD, and the remix of "Rockafeller Skank" really puts the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who likes Fat Boy Slim, or to anyone who likes good music in general!

My favorite single right now. I liked 'Praise You" when the album was released. I'm glad FBS is getting the recognition he derserves. I accually only bought the single for Sho Nuff after I heard it on DMX.

5.0 out of 5 stars KOOL SONG, June 6, 1999
By A Customer
i think this CD single of praise you is a really good song, unfortunatley not everyone feels that way. many others referred to fatboy slim as being very repetetive, and i cant argue with that. he is but at least he has good backround music. the song rocks! buy the CD if you like the song and if you dont like it, dont. (pretty smart, eh?)

2.0 out of 5 stars I wouldn't buy it., May 11, 1999

Luckily, I didn't have to. One of my friends made a tape of the album for me. Well, here's what I have to say:

The songs, even though they sound good and have feasible (sp?) tunes to them, wind up being repetitive (I mean, really, how many times does he have to say "Right About Now, the funk soul brother, check it out now"? And btw, those are the ONLY lyrics in the song!), and getting butchered by a million choppy little sound effects.

"Fatboy Slim" has a bad habit of taking a song that has a potential to be great and ruining it with stupid sound FX that bore and irritate the listener -- at least this listener, anyway.
