profoundly beautiful, dangerously addictive, marvelously uplifting, my favorite of Berezan's albums, and I have loved all of her work. The harmonies are celestial and hypnotic.

I've given this CD along with "Returning" to friends and they love them too. Its a great CD - I find myself singing along, getting lost in the music and harmony. The CD is one long song that evolves and changes yet has "praises for the world" running through it as the undercurrent. Absolutely fanstastic.

I absolutely loved ReTurning and thought nothing could compare. I am pleased to say that Praises for the World is an equally superb blending of the gift of music and spirit. The artists bring their unique gifts and styles to give praises in a manner that is totally engaging and thought provoking. I listen while meditating, facilitating healing sessions and while "working".

The back cover of the CD says, "File under world music, new age, women's, healing, meditation, vocal, ambient." Any of those will do just fine, but in my collection, it goes under "when you have to relax!" It is a wonderfully relaxing hour or so of music, sure to carry you off to any tranquil corner of your mind that you like once you put it on and close your eyes. Replete with guest vocalists and nature sounds over a mellow guitar arpeggio, the songscape consists primarily of gentle repetitions of the title line. Only the first four minutes or so are outside of that mold, featuring a three-verse song of healing and love for the Earth, which then segues neatly into the main event. Later in the piece, Alice Walker recites her poem "We Have A Beautiful Mother" over the music. This might be a bit much for some listeners, but if not, you'll love the whole CD. Pleasant dreams!

This cd is a beautiful chant, soul moving music...perfect to raise your energy and inspire you...caresses and rocks you gently into a relaxed state...
Can be used with yoga, meditation or body work.. I simply love it!

Enchanting listening. Mesmerizing like the sounds of Bolero. I've listened to the tape over and over and each time I'm sent to a lovely space of quiet within.

Been around music a long time. My taste is very eclectic, though I prefer early R&B/Motown, 80s English rock, jazz fusion and new age (whatever that is). I was introduced to Berezan's work during a Yoga class and immediately bought Returning, which I have gifted many copies. I then heard a track off of Praises and have done the same. The major difference is that I have played this CD at least twice a day for the 2 weeks I have owned it. It has immediately jumped to my number one, and when I am not playing it, I am humming it. This is one incredible work, affecting my spirit and my heart as no other. Like Shamanic Dream II by Anugama, I can play this repeatedly with total joy. Treat yourself, it is magnificent.

This CD, in praise of the holiness of life, is inspiring, uplifting, a must for any spiritual music collection! The warmth of Jennifer's voice will melt your cynical edges and make you grateful to be here...

This music is very easy listening and very peaceful. It would be good music to meditate too, as well as just playing it around the house.

After I stumbled on "Returning" by Jennifer Berezan, a friend turned me on to "Praises for the World." This is truly a passionate recording of various voices and instruments. I feel connected to the energy of life and love when I listen to this. Have purchased it for other friends and they enjoy it very much. Keep on recording, Jennifer!
