The finished project looked like I had done a watercolor painting. Colors are very nice but I wish they had included a white or even off white in the pack. I appreciate idea that I can do fine lines and fill in larger areas with the same pen. I am very pleased with this product and I am now looking to find a set with different colors including white. Please let me know if such a thing should become available on Amazon.

What you get are basically 12 brushes where the paint is being fed through them... like a pen. What it means is you can create watercolor paintings without having to bring along water. That can be very convenient. Also, the results are certainly distinctive when compared to "normal" pens. The downsides are that if you're used to using brushes these might take some getting used to because of their thickness and quality. Also, blending colors will be problematic.

That said, for under 10 bucks you will have the tools to create some really nice drawings with a minimum of preparation or hassle.

The product is cheap and you are getting what you pay for. I bought it for my two kids at 2 and 5 for drawing and coloring. The brush tips can be easily damage in the hands of my kids, especially the 2-year-old, and the ink do not last very long. The dual tip Tombow pens, 3 times more expensive, but is much more durable, and so far sustain the abuse from my two-year-old boy.
