This album is incredable,

Mustard Plug is a band that isn't afraid of evolving. Thats why their last two albums, Big Daddy Multitude and Evil Doers Beware were so different in sound, lyrics, and in an over all feeling behind them. I don't know if Mustard plug really tries to push their limits by going out of their way to evolve, or if it just happens naturally (probubly both), but they seem to do it more amazingly then any band i've ever seen. When listining to pray for Mojo the first time, it will be obvios to you within the first few seconds that they've evolved again. On this album they mix their ska with pop-punk for a totally fresh sound. Also, lyrically, Pray for Mojo is deeper and more powerfull than the earlier onesBasically this CD has it all

Some of the Best the Midwest has to Offer,

About seven years ago, I got dragged to the Reptile House, a little dive on the east side of Grand Rapids, MI, to hear a local band play. Little did I know that Mustard Plug would grow into the very mature band that they are today. I have since joined the military, and I travel the globe carrying cargo for the Air Force. I have found Mustard Plug albums in music shops in southern California, rural Georgia, Yokota, Frankfurt, London and Crete (of all places). This band seems to only get better with each album, and has gained a following world-wide. They are almost complete unknowns outside of Ska circles, but their influence in the realm of Ska is truly universal. To all fans of Less Than Jake, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, the Mad Caddies and other great Ska bands, I highly recommend Mustard Plug. You will not be disappointed with the energy and thrill of hearing this band or better yet, seeing them live. Pick up "Evildoers Beware" also, if for no other reason than the "Beer Song" anthem that finally landed them on MTV.

One the best recent ska albums,

I found out about Mustard Plug by mistake one day when I was in a record store and took a gamble in buying Pray For Mojo. I was lucky to have found my now favorite ska band. Everything about this album (and their Mustard Plug's others) is amazing. Great horns and bass, catchy lyrics, punchy guitars- all make this one a must-have.

This CD is the best ska album I have ever heard. It is a must buy for any fan of ska, punk, punk/ska, whatever. It has twelve great songs that combine catchy lyrics with great horns in the background. This CD is the best and thats all there is to it. Buy it.

once again mustard plug releases another great cd. The only drawback is that its a little short. Although Elivdoers Beware might be a tiny bit better it still kicks. This is what good ska should sound like.

the Plug boys are awesome as usual in this cd.. it's much more polished than their earlier efforts, which can be good and bad. if you crave that raw sound, go to a show (they rock live, too.. maybe they should have some live tracks next time...). dissapointed that they haven't been able to put together an album much longer than 30 mins yet... i can't get enough of these guys- i hope they crank out another 20 cds :)

Midwest Madness. Thats all I have to say about mustard plug. This is a great ska band that can really turn out great tunes. This is a definately a harder version of the mighty mighty bosstones and others. great band. Lolita is a great song along with throw a bomb.

Pretty much all the songs on this cd kick! Especially "away from here" and "yesterday" The only bad thing i can say about this cd is that some of their songs are too slow. If you like less than jake, YOU WILL LIKE MUSTARD PLUG! Mustard plug is just a bit slower at parts. anyways this cd is good, buy it!

This CD isn't quite as good as "Evildoers Beware," but it deserves more credit than it deserves. There are many cool songs on it, like "Send You Back" and "Everything Girl." Also, the versions of "Lolita" and "We're Gonna Take on the World" are a lot better than when they were on "Hopelessly Devoted to You, Too." The only big problem with this CD was that it didn't have "The Freshman" on it. You can only get it on the internet. Oh well, that's what burners are for, but it would have been better on the CD.
