Having watched Anthony Callea's faultless vocal performances over the course of AUSTRALIAN IDOL II in 2004 it came as no suprise that this singer was capable of extraordinary achievements- to make grown men cry with the intensity of his singing voice surely is testament to his powerful technique and passion for his profession.The first airing of THE PRAYER in the latter stages of AUST IDOL literally stopped the nation .Subsequent live television performances of the song have shown that Anthony's singing is noteperfect each and every time putting to shame dozens of artists who think they can sing live outside a studio. If you like Andrea Bocelli then rush out and buy yourself at least two copies of this magnificent song.

i was searching a web, and blown away by this song.
and i searched all the videos from the Australian Idol 2 shows.

as far as i know, this classic track is not a easy song for
even normal pop star singers. Anthony pulled out this song like
normal trendy pop song, very easily.

it definitely shows that he has amazing vocal and talent.

i also heard other kinds of songs he did on the show, it was
perfect <just perfect>. i can't wait for this guy's international debut.

This is truly one of the best songs (if not the best..) of the year. The Prayer was Anthony's defining moment in the Australian Idol series and with good reason - it is amazing! His voice, the emotion, the performance wowed everyone! You will not be disappointed if you buy this, one listen and you will be hooked! Its already 4 x Platinum in Australian and still at Number One - must be pretty good then, eh?
