I am disappointed in this book. It does not cover the entire year, nor does it provide an order of service for family prayer for any hours of the day. I expect a prayer book to offer one or more outlines for family or indivdual prayer at least fof morning, noon, evening and bedtime. (Matins/Lauds, Sext, Vespers, and Compline). Tis book does not. Nor were the common litanies to be found. My wife likes the book a good deal more than I and uses it regularly. It did not cost so much that my disappointment is causing me any problem.

I was pleasantly surprised by the high-quality printing and binding for the low price.

This kind of prayer book is unusual because it is organized by the liturgical seasons of the Church Year. It is in clear language and provides additional information about the prayers that could be informative to beginning users.

This book is comfortable to handle, is bound beautifully, and has prayers for all seasons and feasts during the year. It is contemplative and short enough to do something from the book daily. A great book and a great buy.
