The music allows you to listen to the prayer and be refreshed anytime. I use it especially in my car as I drive to work, shopping etc. Helps you remember the greater calling and puts you in a positive frame of mind. A wonderful break from the radio talk shows, news and other music. Though, I strongly recommend reading the book first to fully appreciate the CD. Enjoy!

This CD is great. I have listened to it probably 15-20 times. It has some very creative songs incorporating the Prayer of Jabez and wonderful music. I really enjoy this CD and find it very uplifting and inspiring. Lets face it every songs a prayer how can you go wrong with that. GOD bless and truely enjoy!!!

There are 7 different songs on this CD all dealing with themes found in Jabez's prayer. Asking God for blessings, extension of responsibilities, do it now, and keep me from temptation. All from different artist. Beautifully done!

I own this cd, the best song on the CD is called "Hands" by The Benjamin Gate. That song is not showed in the song listing on the site. I dont know why the websites dont show the song as being on the cd but it is on my cd.

I PLAY THIS CD NO FEWER THAN ONCE A DAY AND USUALLY MORE....THE MUSIC IS BEAUTIFUL AND CALMING AND THE WORDS SO UPLIFTING.....THIS HAS HELPED ME THRU MANY A HARRIED DAY AND I LOVE IT. I HAVE AND STILL AM BUYING IT FOR MY FRIENDS.....BUY IT AND ENJOY AND YOU WON'T BE SORRY.....

Bruce Wilkinson has started a revolution with prayer. This is the music to reinforce what his books try and teach. The end result is a closer relationship to God!! The music is beautiful, delivers a wonderful message and makes you think!

How do I get the "La oracion de Jabes" Music CD?

The Christian corporate mass-marketing machine moves ever onward. One little book, "The Prayer of Jabez", has become an icon of pop religion, spawning it's own industry of offshoot books and, now, this CD. I suppose I should be thankful that this type of over-the-top marketing is a fairly recent phenomenon. Could you imagine "Augustine's Confessions for Single Moms" or a CD called "Calvin's Institutes: A Worship Experience"? Anyway, back to this CD. There are two musical renditions of this famous prayer to start off the project, I guess so we could pick our favorite. Unfortunately, like the rest of the CD, neither one moved me at all. There was nothing here that I felt could be used in the context of public worship except as "special music", and, frankly, none of it was even special, as far as I'm concerned. Nothing was memorable, and nothing stuck with me, although the musicianship and singing was very competent. My cynical conclusion is it's just another way to try to make a buck for "The Prayer of Jabez" industry. Too bad Jabez isn't still around to reap any of the monetary benefits. After all, it was HIS prayer!
