Believe it or not, I had been moved to tears over five times (my personal record) by this medium length book. I had read many christian books and written tens of related reviews here. By far this is the best, or should I say the most productive one for my faith. Even if you had read other books written by Schuller or biographies of Schuller before (which I did), you would still be fascinated by this autobiography.

This was the first book I read by Robert H. Schuller, I truely enjoyed it. It was very inspirational. You learned the tough times that Mr. Schuller went through and how his faith in God helped him through many obstacles and how it can do the same for you. You learn how he created the Hour of Power television series and the different levels of pray. I would highly recommend this book to read.

Dr. Schuller tells us his passion has been and remains to help people who are hurting. He sees prayer as an adventure, a mystery which connects us with God. He points out that one of the things that is unique about humans created in God's image, is that unlike other created beings, we can dream. Consider his creative description of Jesus: "my hero--the greatest adventurer of all time." Jesus is a role model for all Christians, in addition to being our Savior and Lord!

Prayer is presented in such a powerful, yet simple way in the opening paragraph of the first chapter when he tells us, "Prayer is all about possibilities. About dreams. About faith."

Talk about "California Dreaming"...Dr. Schuller does in a very profound way. I love what he says. "I fell in love with the mountains. The ocean. Palm trees." God answered his prayer and sent him to California.

My copy of this book is extensively marked. I have portions underlined and comments written in the margins. It is such a powerful discussion of prayer, dreams, God-given direction. It comes from a man who has lived it. Faith, the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. By it the elders obtained a good report. In this book Dr. Schuller will feed your faith.

This is probably the most uplifting, spiritual book written by one of the world's greatest inspirational speakers and ministers, I have ever read before. It contains an autobiography, however, also contains the seven levels of prayer. It is an autobiography/inspirational book, and I recommend it to anyone of any age, and really of any religion.

A very exciting journey of a life led by prayer. Dr. Schuller proves that prayer works as he writes on his experience in the achievements. His testimony should bring encouragement to those who pray and have faith in a God that listens and answers prayers. I found this book very encouraging and would commend it to all as a testament to one man's walk with God.

This was my very first book that I read of Dr.Schullers, and it remains my favorite. It is full of inspiring stories and shares some insight to the life of Dr.Schuller and it greatly helped me in my own prayer life. God Loves Dr.Schuller and So Do I!

This book which outlines the life and times, often filled with the life problems we all face as families that Dr. Schuller and his family encountered. He may be a television preacher, but his dry whit, down-to-earth answers to life's questions are undoubtably expressed from deep within his heart. I recomend this book for anyone's reading list
