This book is not to be read, it is to be consumed and studied. When the author points out how Jesus prayed and we can emulate that. That is powerful. A definite for those that have a heart for prayer.

"Prayer Power Unlimited" by J. Oswald Sanders focuses on the importance of prayer in the believer's life.
Among the points covered include: 1. Worship God simply for Who He is. 2. Discussion of where and when Jesus Christ prayed. 3. 5 promises mentioned in the Bible. 4. True prayer is not asking God for what we want, but what He wants. 5. 6 ways the Holy Spirit helps us in prayer. 6. Faith believes it has received the answer, even in the lack of confirmatory evidence. 7. Jesus wants us to believe that urgent prayers receive answers. 8. 7 possible reasons for failed prayer. 9. Factors involved in prayer and free will. 10. Spend less time in trivial matters and more time in prayer. An excellent and challenging book for the person who wishes to improve his or her prayer life. Highly recommended. |
