I bought this book & will be returning it! If you have the first Prayer Shawl Ministry Book, this is just a rehash. If you don't have the first one, get it instead because this one is not even as good!

This is a nice additional book to encourage those that have started knitting Prayer Shawls to try new patterns. The meditation/prayers were okay...not exceptional.

I belong to a Prayer Shawl Ministry, and buy every book that comes out with patterns or info on them. I have the first volume of this Leisure Arts prayer shawl series. They are both wonderful. They are filled with beautiful patterns and photographs. This one also follows up with stories from users of the first book and tells their experiences in presenting the shawls and robes. The stories are very moving and can really spur you on to do more.

This is a great book. I'd recommend it to anyone who knits and crochets and has a heart for helping others.

I belong to St. Nicholas Prayer Shawl group in Zanesville, Ohio and this is the most inspiring book with ideas and prayers that you can read and create into your own cards to put in with your prayer shawls. Our group thinks this book is terrific.

this is a beautifully written and illustrated volume...The patterns are concise and easy to follow...I'm very happy to have it as an addition to my knitting library.

The book was in "new" shape. It arrived in less than a week. The poor part about the activity was that it costs more to mail it than the book cost. I probably would have spent that much in gasoline though if I had to go look for it in the book store!

When I looked up this ministry, there was only one knit pattern and one crochet pattern on the website. I was thrilled to find other patterns. They are beautiful and range in difficulty from easy to expert. This is an excellent book for people who want to bless someone with a prayer shawl.
