This book was written for every mom who desires to have a closer relationship with the Lord but also has a busy life with a home, husband and children to take care of. There are prayer ideas in here that you can continue to do all of the things for your family and yourself (like working out) and involve the Lord in all of it because you are communicating with him through it all. What a great example that is to our children as well. This book as already increased my prayer life and my closeness with the Lord. I love it because you also don't read it an then your done with it. You can go back to it when you need a little inspiration.

Having known Tracy at my church for almost 3 years, she was the one who actually made me see prayer "out of the box". This wonderful book takes that conversation to a higher level and it allows others to benefit from a more personal relationship with Christ by understanding that prayer doesn't have to be a formalized process. We can talk to our Father all day long!

Many women have trouble finding the time to pray or knowing how to start. Tracy Klehn wrote a book called Prayer Starters for Busy Moms: how to pray all day and still put the laundry away. Inside the covers of this small hardcover book are 365 ideas to help you jump into prayer. Each page contains an idea or two. You can use just one a day or you can use several. There are no dates with the ideas. The book is broken into topical chapters covering many concerns of a woman's life. There are also many quotes and a bibliography in the back. You can also write down your own ideas or prayers in the note section at the end.

Not only has this book helped me start praying when I otherwise would not have, but it has gotten me praying about things I might not have prayed about. The small size makes it easy to tuck away next to the sink to read before starting dishes or next to a chair where I nurse the baby. I was definitely praying more while this book was within sight and that's a good thing! I think that many readers would have the same experience.

This is one of those books you can and will come back to again and again. I was so encouraged by these prayer ideas! It's not in a regular book format, but more of a devotional. You could read several of the ideas at once or just take one idea each day and apply it. There are so many cute and creative tips I would never have thought of. Great for encouraging and inspiring in your walk with God. Loved it so much!

A great devotion book for busy moms with children of any age. A gift I'm giving to all new mothers!

This book is for busy moms...but I'm not a mom and I've found this book to be very helpful. I love using the book to meditate or to simply tote around with me through the day to pray and talk to God. A Wonderful book.

This little book was great. I was able to keep in on my kitchen counter and just browse through it whenever I found a few spare minutes. It has a ribbon bookmark to keep your place, but it's also nice because you don't have to necessarily read it in order.

This book offers practical tips for maintaining your spiritual self and coping with the demands of a family. Lots to think about.

This lovely little book has hundreds of ideas about how to squeeze prayer into your busy day. It's a great gift book--and I plan to give one to my daughter who just made me a grandma for the first time.
