I am on my "spiritual path" for 9 years now, and love to read anything I think will assist me. This small, and simple book does just that. It is written by Neville in an easy style, simple words to comprehend, but gives a powerful message. Prayer really is the art of believing. Read it, and watch your life change. I keep this book by my bedside and refer to it often.

I discovered Neville Goddard last year just before the birth of my second child. Due to complications with the birth, i needed approx six weeks bed rest, during which time I read just about all of his books. This period of my life was one of those in which huge changes occurred mentally. He really opened my eyes, especially with regards the imagination and exactly how it can be used, plus he also showed me the works and messages of Jesus Christ in a way I have never seen them before.

Totally enthused by his books, I was then recommended one by a new author and, knowing that life brings to you that which you desire, I bought the book (Statue in the Square, Joanne St.Clair). Anyway, just after Xmas this year I won a six figure sum on the lottery. I know for a fact that it was the culmination of what i had learned, especially with regards the imagination and the inner power as described by Neville. Statue in the Square told me a story which resonated with me and probably just about any other professional caught up in the rat race of life, and together these books completely balanced my mind and my spirit.

Recommended reading for everyone!

This is a very short booklet but it is one of the most powerful books I've ever read. I was really impressed and inspired by it simplicity and profound insight into the subject. Very good book and I highly recommend it.

I am a Codependent Recovery Specialist and self help author who is passionate about honing in on my ability to understand not only how the human mind works, but how the universe at large operates as well.

I believe that if I can continue to grow in my understandings of all things that affect the human condition, I will be better equipped to help my clients gain control over their minds--and their lives--and even their future realities...

Goddard is a no nonsense author who has an immense understandings of the human mind--and of how the laws of the universe work in conjunction with us--as human beings.

He is an author who has an uncanny ability to hone in on his message without spending too much time clarifying his message.

I just read one of his other books, Feeling Is the Secret and found myself tweeting quotes of his in his book...He is dead on with his message and a must read author who is incredibly AWARE of what the secrets of the universe truly are.

Goddard impresses the idea in this book and others, that your FEELINGS about believing are what impresses the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind does not think--it comprehends only emotion...and therefore whatever emotion that is impressed upon it by way of our ability to 'feel' will be carried out by the subconscious mind.

Faith in ourselves, in our version of god, or in others--or even in authors--will determine our realities.

I am so thankful I have found Goddard. I refer my life coaching clients to his work often, and have seen what most would consider miracles happen...But now--after becoming even clearer about how prayer--and thus the law of attraction works, I understand that miracles were intended to be our norms...

I don't consider this a "religious doctrine" book. To me is a guide as to how you can manage your faculties to get what you want.
It's like MAGIC!!!!!!!!! It is truly at your "finger tips". A must read for anyone aspiring to find the Kingdon within themselves.

Really good followup to awakened imagination. Here Neville explains how the Subconscious operates in the Practice of Prayer. While the book is short, the substance is long.
He gets into the different levels of consciousness, contrasting the Objective Mind w/ The Subconscious Mind. Part of Man's dual Nature. The illustration is really mean-fully described, as he differentiates their different modes of thought(operation).
The Conscious Mind operates through Inductive Reasoning. The Subconsciousness Mind through Deductive Reasoning. This in itself is the key to understanding not only the Metaphysical Value, but the Physiological as well.
The Conscious Mind uses so-called "logic", by relying on the evidence of the Senses at hand .It builds in steps the evidence seen in the "Outer World", to arrive at a general Premise, or Statement. The Subconscious Mind takes the Premise or Statement as fact, and proceeds to manifest it, with the steps followed in descending order, just the opposite of the Conscious Mind, which takes the Steps first, and in descending Order reaches a resolve or premise(yea,or nay). That is why Faith and feelings are the key to manifestation, removing oneself of the testimony of the senses, and the beliefs of the Conscious Mind. This Mind takes all it's assumptions on an empirical basis. Not seeing beyond the senses, it limits it's operation to Material appearances
He further goes on, with suggestions of Prayers for others, and perceptions of others by "You", as an important factor in the treatment, and attitude of people towards you, The Philosophy being, Good Energy returns to the Sender, thus another way of attaining your own desired State(s, through your prayers for them.
