I'd never heard of a prayer wheel until I found this song, so I learned something new in addition to getting some nice music. This is a wonderfully relaxing instrumental track (does Clines ever sing, or are all his songs instrumental? Just wondering). The slightly repetitive but soothing rhythms were perfectly suited to its theme. This would be a good track to add to a mix CD of meditation songs. It's also very calming to listen to after a stressful day at work. I will have to check out more of Nels' work.

I downloaded this simply because it was a freebie MP3. Of the 800+ songs on my personal playlist, this is a piece I most often start my listening set with because it predictably relaxes me and lets my mind wander free. (FYI - my playlist is unpredictable. Nels Cline mixes with Enya, Motley Crue, N*Sync, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Duran Duran, and many other genres.)
