I tricked the publisher of another book into seeing love prayers in the format of the book he was already publishing: "How about this?" I asked. He already liked his font and titling style, and, seeing the love prayers in the same style, he (naturally) said OK! So I rushed PRAYERS FOR LOVERS into existence in about thirty days, thinking only of my gifted and beautiful wife and the insanity of passion I felt for her after 22 years of professional celibacy. (I'd been a priest.) It's the star of all my books.
