This small book is filled with beautiful prayers (written by the author), which are meant to be read aloud together, and shared with your loved one. Each of the 75 prayers covers a different circumstance and no matter what your denomination or none, this book will move you. This is spiritual- not religious.

My husband and I pray together each day and use this book at least once a week, often more. The prayers are beautifully written and apply to most circumstances that we are facing, both good and bad. Some days we choose a specific prayer and other days we just open to a page and it always seems to fit our needs. This is our favorite prayer book to use as a couple.

After receiving this as a gift for our engagement, my wife and I have made a point to gift it to any Catholic couple we know getting engaged or married. It is very simple but comprehensive. The prayers are not overly pious, but speak to the reality, both joyful and challenging, of married life.

I highly, highly recommend this - I haven't found another like it!

My husband and I coordinate the marriage preparation program within our church. We purchased several of these books to give to engaged couples as gifts, which they have enjoyed. We also read the prayers on our own - there are prayers for all situations encountered by married couples.

This book truly WOULD make a great anniversary gift for friends or family. And while you're at it, BUY one for YOURSELF!! Every married couple should have a copy. The prayers in this book are not only lovely, but practical. (For those that are worried, they are also short!)

My husband and I were introduced to this book at a Marriage Encounter meeting, where the presenting couple had us all pray one of the prayers. The prayer had a lovely, poetic quality. As we were praying I felt like the words were forming from the yearnings of my very own heart. Nearly ALL of the wives including myself asked for the name of the book! I'm so happy that I bought it. Now, my husband and I hold hands and pray one of the prayers together each morning. Isn't that a great way to begin the day? If you know the power of prayer, you know God listens and He answers . . . and these prayers work :)
