Prayers by a man who knows God!
This book of prayers has been one of my favorites since my discovery in 1975. It never grows old -- especially his prayer for all of us in a hurry -- who worship a Jesus who was NEVER in a hurry!

I inherited The Prayers of Peter Marshall at the time of my Mother's death. A keepsake ever since! Still within the pages are snippets of paper with her old typewriten notes - introductions before she read one of his prayers.
I especially treasure his prayers given before the Senate - and his last one is so special - "....Where we cannot convince, let us be willing to persuade, for small deeds done are better than great deeds planned. We know that we cannot do everything. But help us to do something. For Jesus' sake. Amen" I'm hunting for a copy - ANY condition! - to send to a native Eskimo, born in Nome now living in Anchorage. please contact vivsoriginals@gmail.com

Next to my Bible, this is my favorite book. I found this book by accident and now purchase copies for friends. Too bad it is out of print and the only way to get a copy is to buy used.
