Invaluable for our young family,

I bought this book from a homeschool curriculum provider, with the intentions of learning how to work in a set time for our family to pray the rosary together. Other than the beautiful, deepening meditations and readings for each mystery, is at the end of each reading, the statement, "The family that prays together stays together." How true! Each mystery has a set of prayers and meditations for several readers (up to 5) to share. There are several scriptural references, and there are several beautiful drawings to look at in the book. There are also very simple suggestions on how to work out the family's prayer time. You can choose to do a decade per day, meditating on one mystery per week, or you can do a mystery per day. Our family is very young, and now is the time I want to instill this memory of family tradition of praying and meditating together on the life of Jesus Christ. My current 2nd grader is able to read several of the readings, which is extremely helpful in keeping her attentive and actively participating. This is exactly what I was looking for!
