Knew what I was getting...
I found this journal at a Christian book store, so I knew what it was before I bought it. This prayer journal is just that...a journal. I have enjoyed "praying through the Bible" in this way. You choose your own scripture to reflect on (wherever the Lord inspires you) instead of being told what to study. If you are looking for a book on prayer or more guided prayer...

Just an expensive notebook
I am really disappointed in this journal. I was assuming that it would have bible passages for each day and you would study the passage and then the book would help lead you in journaling. I feel like this is just a very expensive notebook used to take notes while reading the bible. I would not have bought it, had I known this was how it was.

I am really disappointed in this journal. I was assuming that it would have bible passages for each day and you would study the passage and then the book would help lead you in journaling. If you are looking for a book on prayer or more guided prayer guide, I would recommend any of Stormie Omartian's other books. "The Prayer That Changes Everything" and "The Power of a Praying Wife" have literally changed my life!
