I purchased a refurbished 5th gen ipod from the seller. I know, I know... I should have known better than buying a refurbished one to begin with. But I did, and by paying for it I assumed I was entering into a contract whereby I would receive a working ipod. I was wrong. I tried to set it up, ran an itunes diagnostics test, and found out that the ipod (despite being connect to the computer) was not being seen by itunes. Itunes suggested i reformat the ipod. After 10 hours of reinstalling the (newest) ipod software, it is still not found by itunes. I contacted tech support (it came with 90 day limited warranty), and was told I would need to ship it to them to be fixed. So its pretty unclear to me exactly what was "refurbished" about the ipod. I plan to return it to the seller. Again, I know buying anything refurbished is risky, but the fact that this was such a hassle out of the box makes me really wary of trusting this seller. I'd expect this from some new, unknown seller. Not Target...
