The list author says: "Lily has a late birthday and misses our districts cut off for kindergarden by 7 days so these are the things we use regularly to fill her brain with smarts and keep her engaged until she turns 5 and starts kindergarden next year. I wouldn't call it homeschooling but we spend about half an hour using each workbook daily. I'm a full time student and writer so we study and do our "work" together. Lily also attends a 3 day a week co-op daycare which we are in love with."
"If I can only bring one book in the car or on a trip its this one. This bad boy is packed with variety so if Lily gets bored of ABC's its on to 123's, Phonics, Science or one of the other 5 sections of subject matter in this book. I also love how this book encourages coloring"
"Lily will probably finish up the Pre-K book in a month or so (she started it a few months back) and I'm undecided about buying a second Pre-K copy and doing another round or moving on to the Kindergarten book."
"I don't speak spanish but we are Mexican and will be sending Lily to a Dual Language program for elementary school. Hopefully this book with familiarize Lily with some basics. I also play disney movies in spanish on occasion."
"We play with these as a break, in the car or on a trip. the answers are on the next card, so Lily can play by herself but its most fun when I'm giving her I giant high five or hug for knowing the right answers. The questions are also great for randomly starting conversations about subjects Lily wants to know more about."
